A bill introduced in 2021 sought to award the Ghost Army the Congressional Gold Medal. Now, three years later, the long-overdue award ceremony was finally held.
Surviving members of this one-of-a-kind unit came to Washington to receive the much-deserved award. Read about the ceremony here.
