Nancy Miller Stratford was a British pilot during WWII. She was a hero without a doubt. The battle for the skies was so vital to Allied victory that, without the service of people like her, the war would have turned out quite differently.
As a young woman of 25, Stratford was flying death-defying missions and protecting freedom around the world. Recently, she celebrated her 106th birthday. This seemed like the perfect time to make her this month’s Hero Highlight.
